General Info

How big are the classes?

We keep all our ccourses small for a good atmosphere, and so they stay very interactive.  10 is the absolute maximum on all our wedding courses, and there are two trainers present for the entire duration to ensure an excellent student/teacher ratio.

What equipment should I bring?

If you’re attending a course where we’ll be shooting models (2-day, 4-day or the Portfolio day), you will need to bring your camera along.  A digital SLR is preferred, and if you have several lenses we suggest you bring them so we can help you try a few things out on the course.

Who are the Models?

We use a variety of professional models who are very friendly and happy to be posed by a group of photographers!  To see some shots of our models, take a look at the Students Gallery page.

How are the courses taught?

For all classes, both Mike Garrard and David Morgan will be present and teaching.  We encourage a friendly atmosphere, and things are very interactive so you can get the information you need.  We are very flexible, so if there is a consensus to spend more time on a specific area we will do so, and similarly if you need some help on a 1-2-1 basis, we will try to help out with that as well.

Is lunch provided?

Tea & Coffee is provided throughout the day, and a full lunch is provided on our wedding photography courses.

Where should I stay overnight?

Please contact us for a full list of local B&B’s and Hotels.  We have a set of phone numbers, websites and room rates we can send you.

Where should I park?

There is plenty of car parking onsite. When you arrive at Bisham Abbey, proceed towards the Old Abbey and there are spaces directly outside.
