Studio Portraits  -  ’Lighting for Little Ones’  -  1 day  -  £295 + VAT

If you’re looking to get into shooting bumps, babies and children using lights on location or in a home studio, then this course is for you!

This course will show you so much in a day.  You’ll start off with some tuition in preparing for the shoot and a few great business tips on how to price and sell the session, and then get onto the moretechnical side of things.  There will be a good explanation of the equipment involved, and you’ll be shown fool-proof settings for your camera and the lights.

We finish the morning with our first shoot, photographing bumps!  A pregnant model is used to get you used to using your camera with the lights, and we will discuss flattering posing and backgrounds for this kind of shoot.

After lunch, and with your confidence increasing we’ll spend the next 2-3 hours photographing several different kids.  We’ll work with different backgrounds, props and show you to how direct the chaos to achieve amazing results!   Finally, we’ll spend 1-2 hours in front of the computer to demonstrate the retouching techniques needed to turn your shots from good to great, ready to achieve excellent sales.

(NB – The class size is kept to just 7, to make sure everyone has plenty of shooting time.)
